Windows vs macOS installation differences
Windows installation is generally straightforward. We install the latest Windows 11 (or 10 if preferred), run all Windows Updates, install chipset and driver packages, and set up your user profile. For new SSDs, we partition and format the drive optimally.
macOS installation requires booting into recovery mode, erasing the drive, and reinstalling from macOS Recovery or a bootable USB. On Apple Silicon Macs, we ensure Rosetta 2 is installed for Intel-based app compatibility.
Boot Camp (Windows on Mac) — For Intel Macs, we can set up dual-boot with Windows via Boot Camp. For Apple Silicon Macs, we set up Windows ARM via virtual machines.
