MacBook vs laptop screen replacement — what is different?
MacBook screen replacements differ from standard laptop screens in several important ways:
- Display assembly replace — Most modern MacBooks (Retina, Liquid Retina) require replacing the entire display assembly (screen + aluminium lid + camera + antennas), not just the glass panel. This makes repairs more expensive.
